Design Process
My clients are able to visualize their finished landscape before any construction has even begun, hence my motto “Seeing It Done, Before it’s Begun”. I provide my clients with a vision of their completed landscaped property, through a design that provides multiple visuals of the final product.
Step 1: Initial Site Meeting
- Discuss clients vision and concerns with property as well as my initial thoughts
- Take site measurements & photos
- Discuss realistic project budget
- Discuss products and services the client wants produced
- Existing conditions plan (plot plan, site survey etc.) obtained from client
Step 2: Design Proposal
- Detailed design proposal sent to client
- Client then sends back signed design proposal and deposit (deposit varies by project)
Step 3: Producing Design
- Analyze site (existing hardscapes, topography, vegetation, sun, wind etc.)
- Produce a design taking into consideration everything discussed at site meeting
Step 4: Design Presentation
- Initial design presented to client
- Discuss design details including plantings, possible hardscape materials and structures
- Work together with client to make any changes necessary to finalize design
Step 5: Project Bidding – Optional

- Ensures client gets the best price and quality of work
Step 6: Project Management – Optional

- Ensures quality, details of design and design implemented properly
